Terra flower pot, large

The Terra pot is the first of a series of planters designed by Koen de Winter that incorporates a flower pot with a water reservoir. The Terra comes in two pieces, the 1.5 litre reservoir in sepia tone stoneware, and the pot that fits on top in the biscuit colour. The base of the pot has a perforated section that extends into the reservoir allowing the water to be taken up gradually by capilliary action as the plant requires it. The design allows a plant to be left for about two to three weeks before the reservoir needs to be re-filled.
