The first of the Eco Wool products is the "Nymphaea" blanket designed by Sophia Thurfjell. The new "Twist" and "Scott" wool throws are also produced using this material.

The Visby porcelain set brings a bit of Scandinavian café style into the home. With Visby, Danish designer Kim Buk has created an unusual form language that is both striking and functional. The saucers and plates feature small "peaks" on their surfaces that match up with the recesses in the base of the bowls and cups to help hold them in place. The Visby series is made of a soft white coloured porcelain and consists of seven pieces: cup, espresso cup, sauced, plate, sugar/creamer, yoghurt bowl and jug.

Stelton

design: Designit, 2008

Stelton has produced a clever new design for the travel mug with a lid that allows you to drink from any point on the rim. The design employs a unique rocking stopper mechanism that helps prevent spills while allowing the liquid to pour out in the direction the mug is tilted.  The insulated mug is produced in beautifully polished stainless steel,  a suitable accessory for the finest of automobiles or the commuter train for that matter.

For Spring 2008, Stelton has introduced the ingenious "Take Away tray".  The egonomically designed handle is perfectly balanced allowing the tray to be easily carried from the kitchen out to the pool deck.  When the tray is placed down the handle stows neatly into the edge of the tray.  The non-slip rubber surface of the tray helps to prevent objects from moving around in transit, and it can be simply removed for cleaning.  The cost for a Take Away tray is 115.00 CAD/USD, and will be available by mid-April.  Advance orders are now being accepted.

Cecilie Menz's Simplicity series for Holmegaard includes a vase, bowl and large dish in purple or smoked glass.  The Simplicity series will be available to ship by early May.

Holmegaard Cabernet champagne flutes 

Last year Stelton introduced the a very attractive and functional Bread Bag designed by Klaus Rath and it has been a tremendous successs. This Fall, based on requests from many customers for a smaller version of the design, Stelton has created the "Mini Bag" which is the perfect size for a breakfast or lunch tray. The Mini Bag is made of the same high quality cotton as the larger version and is availale in a number of colours - black, red, brown/white and sand/white.  The Mini Bags come in box set of two for 40.00 CAD.
